What

This is a Digital Garden! A thousand more sensible people have mused on what a digital garden is than I have, but I like to think of it as a non-linear blog. Do you know how blogs tend to go in one direction, newest to oldest? Total buzzkill.

For someone like me (Who am I?), a digital garden makes a lot more sense than a traditional site. This one is created using the Obsidian Digital Garden plugin and it's as basic as it comes. There's an option for creating a digital garden that works for anyone, and for me- this is what works.

I think there's a heavy level of stress on "getting it right" on the internet, and a digital garden is really easy to re-arrange, uproot, and edit without breaking anything. As someone with very little interest in timely content, having the opportunity to express myself in a way that works for me is what's most important.

The most crucial aspect of a digital garden is that it's in perpetual development. You will fall down holes, get lost in my thoughts, and find things totally different from how you last looked at it. That's ok!

I also treat my digital garden like a back catalogue. I'm a bit like a slug, leaving trails all over the place- if you check here, you can see where I've gone! I have no specific methodology, but in general notes are sorted into folders of their general topic.

Can't find something? Maybe it doesn't exist. Maybe it should! You should figure out Where to find me and let me know.
